Since their founding in 2017 at the University of Puget Sound, 48 Degrees North have rocked their unique blend of ‘prog pop’ on stages and festivals from Tacoma to Bellingham. Now, with intricate harmony and soul-searching lyrics, the versatile group will bring an intimate acoustic version of their upcoming record All We Could Ever Be to Pleasant Beach on March 11.
Maple Valley raised singer/songwriter Zan Fiskum uses her haunting and beautifully controlled singing to craft ethereal and brooding folk/pop songs.
Zan grew up playing make believe, wedged between the aisles of musty red velvet seats at Auburn Ave, the diner theater her family volunteered at. After years of observing the performances, Zan volunteered her own participation and discovered her transcendence on the stage. Beneath the lights she went from a quiet and mysterious girl to a bold and passionate performer. The stage is where she found her place of belonging. At the age of 12 Zan broke away from the molds of her classical music training and experimented with enmeshing forthright lyrics, cinematic melodies and explosive synth sounds into her songwriting. She went on to release her first 6 singles and achieved over 2 million streams on spotify alone.
Just 2 years later, Zan made her national debut on NBC’s The Voice as a top 9 finalist and received recognition for her dynamic performing and voice from Billboard magazine, Maggie Rogers, Camila Cabello and the Indigo Girls. Zan then launched forward with full force and started her band and wrote and released her debut album “Sleeping Problems.” She wanted this project to be brutally honest and to fully expose the wounds that inspired these songs. She has since found herself performing in iconic Seattle venues such as The Moore Theater, The Triple Door, Sasquatch and more, leaving her audience awe struck each time.

Alternative Press calls King Youngblood “Seattle’s Alt Rock Princes” - they sure got that right. Twenty-two-year-old founder and frontman Cameron Lavi-Jones, along with bassist Hamoon Milaninia, drummer Alix Daniels, and cellist Chet Peterson have a singular mission: grab heavy guitar/drums rock by the collar and drag it into the willing arms of the new generation of fans current fueling the resurgence of Rock. King Youngblood crafts beautifully crisp, deeply soulful, and elegantly strong songs.
King Youngblood has been leading the rising Pacific Northwest pack long before pop’s biggest names started embracing cathartic rock music. Led by Black/Jewish Lavi-Jones, King Youngblood’s music is an instrumental leap towards the future of big, guitar-driven music. Already championed by the likes of multiplatinum producer Phillip Peterson (A$AP Rocky, Portugal the Man, Pink) and London Bridge studio owner and producer Eric Lilavois (Ayron Jones, My Chemical Romance, Macklemore, Death Cab for Cutie), the band’s sound incorporates a unique blend of heavy guitars and drums coupled with an electrified acoustic cello, shining a light on the melodic pop hooks that underpin their compositions.
Sarah is a Seattle-based Americana singer-songwriter who fell in love with music at a young age, studying voice, guitar and trumpet. She grew up writing stories and poems which opened the door to songwriting.
At 15, she began performing locally at open mics in her hometown of Traverse City, MI. Her professional career began in 2013, playing at bars while studying at Michigan State University. Since then, she has performed in various cities in the US, as well as England, Ireland and Czech Republic. Currently, she lives in Seattle, WA where she continues to perform at weddings, wineries, breweries, bars and restaurants. From 2016 through 2021, Sarah played almost 1,000 live shows. She honed her chops playing everything from Johnny Cash to The Weeknd to Sheryl Crow — all of which can be heard in her distinctly folksy-yet-not-folksy rhythm guitar playing. It’s a rare singer-songwriter that uses rhythm guitar just as much as vocal melody to define a song, but she takes pride in “driving the bus.” Her love for music is equal to her love for connecting with people - throughout her career, she has learned that music never fails to bring people together, whether performing in an intimate setting or for an upbeat celebration.
Besides performing as a solo artist, she plays regularly with her duo/band The Hipocrats (Tyler McGinnis vocals/guitar). Sarah and Tyler cowrite all of their material and put a modern spin on Americana music. Additionally, she plays with Milkshake Moral Years (Lucas Tayne, electric guitar + Scott D’Angelo, electric bass + Jake Kennon, drums). After a five-year hiatus from releasing original music (her latest EP, Brink of Love, dropped in July of 2016), Sarah is back with two singles, "Birdie" and "Caravan" (featuring Tyler McGinnis).
Sundae + Mr. Goessl features award-winning vocalist Kate Voss (Earshot Magazine's Vocalist of the Year, two-time Seattle-Kobe Vocal Jazz Princess) and tireless virtuoso guitarist, Jason Goessl. This charming wife/husband duo has a style all their own and incorporate humor, vintage style, interesting instrumentation, nostalgia and serious musicianship in their act. While some label their style as "Vintage Pop" and others deem it "Cowboy Jazz" there's one adjective that everyone can agree on: delightful.
Bringing back the sounds from a by-gone era and spreading the joy of music like Johnny Appleseed, Sundae + Mr. Goessl have been in the business of delighting audiences across the US for the past 6 years. Recently married, the couple has put out 6 albums and has performed 1000+ shows. The couple has successfully drafted an act that encompasses virtuosity, jazz, pop, americana, country, charm, fashion, comedy and vaudeville with accolades and awards to boot.
An up-and-coming singer, songwriter, and pianist – Rynian offers an eclectic range of musical styles pulled together to create a powerful and shadowy soundscape.
