Tracie Marsh, a Seattle area native, has been a musician since she was 5 years old. She holds a bass performance degree and a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Washington State University and has traveled the world performing music of all styles. While living in Boston, Tracie played in several bands and held the principal bass position in The New Hampshire Philharmonic Orchestra. She also worked 4 years aboard cruise ships playing for large productions and entertainers such as The Platters, The Drifters and many other Las Vegas styled production shows.
Half-a-Ship-Wreck is a vivacious acoustic duo/trio with passionate female vocals from the backwoods of New Mexico. Great original music, as well as, unique arrangements of your favorite songs - spanning many decades and genres. Dubbed "the poetess of the blues," Michele D'Amour* was steeped in music in the womb and has maintained her love of the blues genre throughout her life, bolstered by her father's extensive record collection. At the tender age of six, inspired by a now-forgotten incident, the precocious youngster penned her first song, "My Mom is So Mean." Growing up in rainy Seattle in such circumstances with two older sisters to boot, the blues gave Michele an outlet for transcending life's trials and helping others as well.
