First introduced to jazz audiences in the 1990s as the protégé of Art Farmer, Matheny has matured into “one of the jazz world's most talented horn players” Matheny's most ambitious composition to date is Spiritu Sancto, the New Millennium Mass, a monumental sacred work scored for chorus, organ, percussion, brass quintet, jazz ensemble and gospel soloist, Spiritu Sancto received its world premiere on the dawn of the new millennium at St. Domenic's Cathedral in San Francisco.
Devin Sinha is a singer/songwriter living in Seattle, hailing from Midwestern roots as he spent his formative years around Kansas City. His style is primarily a mixture of contemporary folk and indie rock, mixing autobiographical flavors into his fiction of poetry and music. The new studio LP, Liminal Space, is available now. His prior album, Our Fathers Were Lions, was released October 2017.

Ian Hale Skavdahl is a Seattle area based singer/songwriter and performer with influences in folk, rock, blues, jazz, mo-town, and Americana. He is an accomplished loop artist layering beats and melodies and playing eclectic upbeat covers and original tunes. He is also is the founder and front man of Seattle band "Ian Hale and the Legacy" which has a full-length album on all streaming platforms.
On the first Thursday of every month Marketplace will be hosting an Open mic night for all of eager music gurus to come and show off your skills! Sign-ups start at 6pm, so pick your favorite song, grab some liquid courage and get ready to sing your heart out.
Eric Auckerman is a roots Americana musician who draws influence and inspiration from John Prine, Johnny Cash, Bill Withers, Lou Rawls, Gordon Lightfoot, Lightening Hopkins Guy Clark and others. He has performed in Europe, Canada, the West Coast and in Nashville, his music has been described as “heavy mellow” as his songs offer a blend of Americana but with European sensibilities. His guitar playing has elements of second-guessing and risk-taking but whose roots are in American Blues and-finger style folk circa the late 60’s and early 70’s. His voice can be likened to that of “70’s Gold” but think baritone crooner with Bluesy nuance and warmth, nothing shrill and always breezy.
Goodnight Suzie is an indie/pop band featuring wife and husband team Suzie and Ben Bradford. The singer/songwriters came out of the popular Seattle cover band “The Side Project” which recorded 6 albums and performed all over the NW since 2004. They’ve also had music featured on shows such as "Dancing With The Stars” and “So You Think You Can Dance” as well as songs broadcast in Starbucks locations across the U.S.
