Tracie Marsh at the Mouse Fountain

Tracie Marsh, a Seattle area native, has been a musician since she was 5 years old. She holds a bass performance degree and a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Washington State University and has traveled the world performing music of all styles. While living in Boston, Tracie played in several bands and held the principal bass position in The New Hampshire Philharmonic Orchestra. She also worked 4 years aboard cruise ships playing for large productions and entertainers such as The Platters, The Drifters and many other Las Vegas styled production shows. Since moving to Poulsbo in 2005, Tracie has been a busy bassist/singer performing in several music projects, studio session work, and composing music. Tracie's current music projects include; 'The Tracie Marsh Band' original music in the pop soul jazz genre, 'Soul Siren' a fun top 40, funk and rock cover band, 'Jazz Canvas' art/music production show, 'Lost and Found,' a Christian ministry band and the newest, “Marsh Family Band.”

See how you stack up against the competition every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:30 pm when our quizmaster brings this special brand of brainteasers and good clean(ish!) fun to the Village.

Waking Bear (Free Friday Concert)

We’re Waking Bear, a pos-vibe, indie/alt rock band from Olympia, Washington putting out high-frequency originals and uplifting audiences! Waking Bear was founded in 2018 by songwriters Noah Bears R. and Ivy Jordanne, each additional member trickling into the Bear family in divine timing: Daniel, Scotty and Doug. Five musicians coming from diverse musical backgrounds and all contributing to the range of styles heard within our songs. Our first full-length album, Trust Fall, was released in early 2021. This heartfelt album weaves together themes of trusting the universe, in something greater than ourselves, and that all is working out for the highest good.

Open Mic Night

On the first and third Thursday of every month Marketplace will be hosting an Open mic night for all of eager music gurus to come and show off your skills! Sign-ups start at 6pm, so pick your favorite song, grab some liquid courage and get ready to sing your heart out.

Ben Watson (Free Friday Concert)

Ben Watson is a local Bainbridge musician and Bainbridge High School senior with a passion for 70s and 80s music. Ben has performed regularly on Bainbridge Island at both public venues and private functions. As a rock piano player and singer, he brings his own personality to popular songs that we all know and love. Ben’s performances always include well-known rock riffs and dynamic instrumentation as he plays hits by Elton John, Billy Joel, and Ben Folds as well as a number of other classic rock anthems.

Jen Howard (Free Friday Concert)

Jen Howard is an American singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, born in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Although coming from a blue-collar, religious and home schooled upbringing, Jen's music is a mix of Folk, Roots, Reggae and Sophisti-Pop. Her music's central themes include; human nature, love, courageous motivation and intentional compassion for ourselves and others. In 2019, Jen released the debut EP "Motion". Her follow-up EP will be released during 2023. Jen Howard has performed in Arizona, California, Colorado, Costa Rica, Florida, Germany, Hawaii, Iceland, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mexico, Netherlands, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Texas and Utah.
