Josiah Bogle (Free Friday Concert)

The Marketplace, Bainbridge Island

August 25 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Josiah Bogle takes you on a journey through the best of vintage pop rock nuanced with today’s current sound.

Whether singing one of his original songs or covering an old favorite, Josiah’s music is firmly rooted in rock ‘n roll. He writes as he sings, from his heart. His original songs span a range of emotions, and his deep love of music allows him to cover songs with authenticity and reverence in a style that is uniquely Josiah Bogle.

Josiah jumped headfirst into playing music at 13 when his passion for singing prompted him to save up for his first guitar. The guitar was a vehicle to perform his favorite songs and compose originals. Josiah’s earliest musical inspiration was Elton John. Elton’s blend of Rock, Blues/ Gospel & Pop is a major influence seen in Josiah’s own compositions. Paul McCartney is another one of his musical heroes, both as a singer/songwriter and bass player. When listening to Josiah’s music, you may notice other influences from Stevie Wonder, Jeff Lynne, and Tom Petty.

A seasoned musician, Josiah has been performing professionally for over 15 years as a solo artist, lead singer, and bassist. You can find Josiah performing every weekend and some weekdays in clubs, pubs, and events in the Seattle area.
